NFL Week 7 and 8: NFC East struggles and power rankings

The NFL enters Week 7 and 8 with significant developments in the NFC East. The division has become the first in NFL history to go entirely winless in back-to-back weeks, largely due to mounting injuries.

The Philadelphia Eagles face a critical Monday Night Football matchup against the Dallas Cowboys. The Eagles are currently dealing with major roster absences, including quarterback Jalen Hurts, who is out for the season. This medical situation has prompted the NFL and NFLPA to launch a joint investigation into the medical care Hurts received.

In the Week 8 power rankings, the Buffalo Bills hold the top spot, followed by the San Francisco 49ers and Detroit Lions. The Dallas Cowboys have moved up in the rankings following their recent victory over Philadelphia.
