NFP acquires Moores Insurance Management

NFP, an Aon company, has acquired Moores Insurance Management, a multi-disciplinary risk management firm headquartered in Minneapolis, Minnesota. Founded in 1987, Moores provides services to businesses and high-net-worth individuals across 43 states.

As part of the acquisition, Moores CEO Mark Moores will join NFP as senior vice president of commercial P&C, while President Jack Moores will serve as senior vice president of personal lines. Both will report to leadership within NFP’s Central region.

The move is intended to strengthen NFP’s presence in the Minnesota market and expand its ability to provide property and casualty insurance solutions. The acquisition aligns with an industry trend where brokers are developing dedicated private client practices to compete in higher-margin, complex client segments.
