NG. CASH raises $15 million to expand crypto services in Brazil
Brazilian fintech NG. CASH has secured $15 million in a strategic investment round led by Blockchain Capital. This funding brings the company's total capital raised since its 2021 inception to over $65 million.
The investment is primarily intended to facilitate the company's application for a Virtual Asset Service Provider (VASP) license, also known as a SPSAV, from the Central Bank of Brazil. This regulatory step will allow the platform to expand its ecosystem into crypto-assets and potentially offer tokenized stock trading.
Founded as an offshoot of a major YouTube channel, NG. CASH focuses on the creator economy and Gen Z users, particularly those from middle- and lower-income households. The platform currently serves more than 10 million users and aims to originate BRL 1 billion in credit by 2027.
