Ng Eain Yow upsets fourth seed at London Squash Classic

Malaysian squash player Ng Eain Yow, ranked world number 18, secured a major upset at the London Squash Classic by defeating fourth seed Aly Abou Eleinen of Egypt. Playing at Alexandra Palace, Ng overcame an initial deficit to win the match 7-11, 11-4, 11-9 in the tournament's longest match of the second day.

Ng, who recently exited the Budapest Open in the quarter-finals, will face Egypt's Youssef Soliman in the upcoming quarter-final round. Ng noted that while he needed time to adjust to Eleinen's fast pace, his performance in the second and third sets was key to his comeback.

In other tournament action, defending champion Paul Coll advanced to the quarter-finals after defeating Sam Todd. In the women's draw, American Amanda Sobhy recovered from two match balls down to defeat Egypt's Salma Hany, setting up a match against world number one Hania El Hammamy.
