Ngô Tĩnh Tinh transitions from actress to lawyer

Ngô Tĩnh Tinh, a Vietnamese-born actress famous for her roles as ‘Little Dragon Maiden’ in the early 1980s, has transitioned from a prominent film career to a successful legal profession.

Born in 1964, Ngô rose to fame in Hong Kong after her debut at age 16 in the TVB series ‘Youth’. She gained widespread recognition for her performances in ‘Buddha's Palm’ and ‘Yang Guo and Little Dragon Maiden’, often paired with actor Leslie Cheung.

At the height of her fame, she retired from acting to marry director Lau Kar-leung. Following her marriage in 1984, she pursued higher education, enrolling in law school at the University of Hong Kong in 1996. She subsequently became a lawyer, earning a reputation for her sharp legal reasoning and litigation skills in Hong Kong.
