Nga Son police prevent woman from attempting suicide at bridge

Police in Nga Son Commune, Thanh Hoa Province, successfully intervened to prevent a woman from attempting suicide at Cong Len Bridge on September 1.

Acting on a report from local citizens around 5:00 PM, a task force led by Lieutenant Colonel Hoang Anh Tuấn arrived at the scene to secure the area and approach the individual. The woman, identified as P. T. T. (born 1997), was reportedly in an unstable mental state due to family conflicts.

Through persistent persuasion and emotional support, officers were able to calm the woman and convince her to abandon her intentions. She was subsequently handed over to her family for continued care and monitoring.
