Ángel De Brito clarifies future of LAM program

Argentine television host Ángel De Brito has clarified that while his entertainment program, LAM, will eventually conclude, he has no intention of leaving the television industry. During an interview on the program ‘Fernanda al hueso’, De Brito explained that after twelve years and 2,500 episodes, he believes it is the right time to close the current cycle.

De Brito addressed recent rumors regarding his departure, noting that media reports had misrepresented his statements by suggesting he was being fired or was retiring entirely. He emphasized that his decision is driven by a sense of exhaustion with the repetitive nature of celebrity gossip and the rapid pace of social media, rather than a desire to leave the screen. He expressed interest in exploring new formats in the future.

Additionally, the host shared a brief interaction with programming director Adrián Suar, who responded to comments regarding television ratings during a live broadcast.
