The tension arose after Kusnetzoff jokingly suggested joining the program LAM as a reporter. De Brito rejected the idea, questioning the contradiction of media figures who criticize entertainment journalism while simultaneously using it for self-promotion.

De Brito recalled past negative experiences with Kusnetzoff during his time as a reporter for programs like CQC, describing him as having been “unpleasant” in the past. He stated that while Kusnetzoff has improved, he would not be a suitable reporter for LAM.
