Ângelo Pinto receives Comenda Maria Quitéria honor

Ângelo Pinto has been awarded the Comenda Maria Quitéria, the highest honor bestowed by the Feira de Santana City Council. The award was presented during a solemn session to recognize his lifelong dedication to photography and the preservation of local history and memory.

During the ceremony, Councilman José Carneiro praised Pinto for using photography not merely as a tool for documentation, but as a way to choose perspectives that protect the city's history against forgetting. Pinto expressed deep emotion regarding the honor, noting his personal connection to the legislative house through his father, José Ferreira Pinto, who served six terms as a councilman.
