Nghệ An implements stricter air pollution controls

Nghệ An province is implementing stricter controls on air pollution sources to mitigate the impacts of rapid urbanization, infrastructure construction, and increased traffic. Authorities are focusing on preventing dust from construction sites from dispersing into the environment, particularly in residential areas and along high-traffic routes.

Following guidelines from the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment, local authorities are tasked with increasing supervision of dust control measures. Construction investors and contractors are required to strictly implement site shielding, material covering, water spraying, and vehicle cleaning to ensure that soil, sand, and other construction materials do not escape into the surrounding environment.
