Nghệ An organizes community firefighting and rescue skills competition

Nghệ An Province organized the 2026 “Safe Fire Prevention and Fighting Family Group” professional firefighting and rescue skills competition. The event featured 14 teams from various localities across the province, consisting of top performers from regional competitions.

The competition focused on practical skills through simulated real-world scenarios, including extinguishing fires, rescuing trapped individuals, and moving property to safety. The initiative aims to strengthen the “4 at place” principle, enhancing the ability of local community groups to detect, report, and respond to emergencies immediately before official authorities arrive.
