Nghệ An Police dismantle nationwide document forgery ring

Nghệ An Police have dismantled a sophisticated criminal ring involved in forging and using fraudulent documents of agencies and organizations across multiple provinces in Vietnam. The operation was initiated after authorities detected the group's activities on social media.

The ring was led by Đỗ Hoàng Phương, a resident of Ho Chi Minh City with a prior criminal record for document forgery. Phương utilized social media to solicit orders for fake documents. Once orders were received, the group employed a specialized division of labor: Nguyễn Nhất Hoàng Long in Tây Ninh was responsible for printing the documents using machinery provided by Phương; Trần Tấn Phước managed social media advertising to attract customers; and Nguyễn Minh Thành handled packaging and shipping.

Profits from the illegal activities were distributed among the participants on a weekly basis. The investigation involved coordinated efforts across several provinces to intercept the organized network.
