Nghệ An students receive Vallet Scholarships and academic honors

In Nghệ An, 116 outstanding students and students were awarded the Vallet Scholarship for the 2025-2026 academic year. The ceremony, held at Vinh University, distributed scholarships totaling over 2.3 billion VND. Specifically, 93 students received 17 million VND each, while 23 students received 34 million VND each.

Phan Boi Chau High School for the Gifted had the highest number of recipients with 33 students. Notable awardees include Nguyễn Hoàng Phương, who earned two silver medals at the 2026 International Mathematical Olympiad and the Asia-Pacific Mathematical Olympiad. The Vallet Scholarship Fund, established by Professor Odon Vallet, has contributed over 30 billion VND to students in Nghệ An over the past two decades.

Separately, the Nghệ An provincial government recognized the region's significant educational achievements for the 2025-2026 school year. The province ranked third nationally in the 2026 high school graduation exam results. Local authorities allocated nearly 2 billion VND to reward 162 students for their achievements in international and national competitions, as well as high scores in graduation exams.
