Nghệ An to host large-scale carnival and fireworks display

Nghệ An province will host a large-scale street carnival and high-altitude fireworks display on August 18 and 19, 2026. The event, themed “Endless Sunshine,” is part of a series of activities commemorating the 81st anniversary of the August Revolution and National Day on September 2.

The festival will take place along Truong Thi Street, stretching from the Lenin Monument to the Muong Thanh Phuong Dong Hotel in Vinh. The program includes decorated float parades, street performances featuring international dances such as Samba and Malambo, circus acts, fire dancing, and stilt walking.

Sponsored by Sun Group, the event aims to promote the natural beauty and cultural identity of the Nghệ An region. In addition to the street carnival, a large-scale music festival featuring famous artists is expected to take place on the evening of August 19 at Ho Chi Minh Square.
