Nghe An authorities rescue livestock from heavy flooding

Heavy rainfall and upstream runoff caused significant flooding in Nghia Loc commune, Nghe An province, leading to submerged homes, farms, and severed transportation routes.

Local authorities, including the Military Command, commune police, and militia forces, coordinated with residents to evacuate people and livestock from high-risk areas. In Vinh Loc hamlet, responders successfully rescued 24 pigs and 40 chickens from the farm of Mr. Nguyen Van Chinh. In Nam Long hamlet, officials also rescued five pigs belonging to Mr. Tran Van Huu.

As floodwaters began to recede around September 18, local government forces continued to assist residents with cleaning homes and farms, as well as moving property and rice out of flooded areas.
