Nghiem Xuan Thanh joins Digital Transformation Steering Committee
Nghiem Xuan Thanh, a member of the Party Central Committee and Deputy Chairman of the Central Inspection Commission, has been appointed as a member of the Steering Committee for Digital Transformation in Party agencies. The decision was signed by Tran Cam Tu, Standing Member of the Secretariat and Head of the Steering Committee, as part of a personnel consolidation process.
Nghiem Xuan Thanh replaces Hoang Trong Hung on the committee. Additionally, Bui Hoang Phuong, Deputy Minister of Science and Technology, has joined the committee, replacing Pham Duc Long, who has been assigned to other duties.
The Steering Committee is responsible for advising the Politburo and the Secretariat on digital transformation efforts within Party agencies from the central to the local levels. Its mandate includes facilitating information sharing and interconnection between Party agencies, state agencies, the Vietnam Fatherland Front, and various socio-political organizations. The committee also oversees the development and implementation of digital transformation projects and proposes special mechanisms to ensure effective deployment.
