Ngân 98 and Lương Bằng Quang prosecuted for bribery and food fraud

Ngân 98 and Lương Bằng Quang are under investigation by the Ho Chi Minh City Police following multiple criminal charges. On October 13, 2025, Ngân 98 was prosecuted and detained for the production and trade of counterfeit food. Subsequently, on October 23, 2025, both Ngân 98 and Lương Bằng Quang were prosecuted for bribery, with Lương Bằng Quang also being detained for investigation.

Recent social media footage has revealed the current state of their 300m² luxury apartment, which appears cluttered and dusty. The family of Ngân 98 has reportedly been unable to move into the residence due to accumulating maintenance costs, including electricity, water, and management fees, which have reached nearly 100 million VND since October 2025. A friend of Lương Bằng Quang is currently assisting with some payments to maintain electricity, while a domestic helper remains at the property to oversee the house.
