NGO ‘Diba’ Soleil distributes school supplies in Kananga

The NGO ‘Diba’ Soleil has distributed school supplies to over 400 young mothers and 200 children from underprivileged families in Kananga. The distribution, part of the ‘2026-2027 School Year’ campaign, took place on August 17, 2026.

Beneficiaries received essential items including bags, notebooks, pens, pencils, erasers, rulers, and uniforms. The initiative aims to reduce the financial burden on families facing economic hardships ahead of the new school year. Emmanuel Muanza Kantole, the provincial minister of Youth and Entrepreneurship, attended the ceremony and encouraged parents to ensure the materials are used effectively for education.
