Ngoc Phu Nguyen replaces Ellis Badr Barboza for ONE Fight Night 47

A late change has been made to the ONE Fight Night 47 lineup scheduled for September 4 at Bangkok’s Lumpinee Stadium. Unbeaten Vietnamese prospect Ngoc Phu Nguyen will step in to face Elmehdi “The Sniper” El Jamari in a strawweight Muay Thai bout.

Nguyen replaces Ellis “El Jefe” Badr Barboza, a former ONE Strawweight Muay Thai World Title challenger, who was forced to withdraw from the event due to injury. Nguyen enters the match with a 12-0 professional record, marking his highly anticipated ONE Championship debut. El Jamari, a Barcelona-based Moroccan fighter, seeks to rebound from two consecutive losses to Aliff Sor Dechapan and Sam-A Gaiyanghadao.
