French midfielder N'Golo Kanté, 35, who currently plays for Fenerbahçe, will end his international career after the 2026 FIFA World Cup, according to L’Equipe. The decision follows limited playing time under France coach Didier Deschamps and marks the conclusion of a decade‑long spell with the national side that included a 2018 World Cup win.

Kanté, a former Leicester City and Chelsea player, joined Saudi club Al‑Ittihad in 2023 before moving to Turkey. He has been a regular for France since 2016, missing the 2022 World Cup due to injury. His focus will now shift entirely to his club duties with Fenerbahçe.
