Nógrád County police seize narcotics in multiple operations
Police in Nógrád County conducted several operations resulting in the seizure of illegal drugs and the detention of multiple individuals. On August 9, officers intercepted a 38-year-old man at a petrol station in Völgyváros, discovering approximately 40 grams of narcotics in his clothing and vehicle.
Subsequent actions included an intervention in Bátonytereny, where a 44-year-old man lost consciousness after consuming unknown substances, and the interception of a vehicle with Slovak license plates near Szurdokpüspöki, which contained crystalline substances. On August 14, a 24-year-old man was also detained in Zagyvapálfalva after a drug-containing container was found in his possession.
The Nógrád County Police Headquarters stated they remain committed to reducing the supply of narcotics and dismantling distribution networks.
