Nguyen Dinh Bac stays in Vietnam for recovery during AFC Champions League Elite
Nguyen Dinh Bac, a key forward for Cong An Ha Noi, has remained in Vietnam to undergo physical recovery instead of traveling to China for the club's AFC Champions League Elite match against Shanghai Port.
Under the supervision of medical staff in Ho Chi Minh City, the 2004-born striker is focusing on improving his physical condition to avoid burnout following a dense schedule of domestic and international fixtures. His absence comes as Cong An Ha Noi seeks its first points in the tournament after consecutive losses to Gamba Osaka and Kashima Antlers.
Despite the absence of Dinh Bac, the squad traveling to Shanghai includes several key players, such as Nguyen Quang Hai and Doan Van Hau. The team aims to secure a result against a strong Shanghai Port side, which features prominent players like Wu Lei.
