Hanoi police have concluded an investigation and recommended the prosecution of Nguyen Hoa Binh, known as Shark Binh, Chairman of NextTech Group. He faces three major charges: fraud, tax evasion, and serious violations of accounting regulations.

Binh is accused of using the AntEx cryptocurrency project to deceive approximately 30,000 investors. The project allegedly issued 33.2 billion tokens, collecting roughly 4.5 million USDT (approximately 117 billion VND). Investigators claim that instead of following the project roadmap, Binh and other shareholders withdrew funds from the AntEx total wallet into personal wallets to divide the proceeds.

Additionally, Binh is accused of directing employees at Nextland to use two separate accounting systems to hide real revenue and profits from the state. This practice allegedly resulted in state budget damages exceeding 4.3 billion VND. Twelve other individuals, including high-ranking executives from NextPay and Vimo, are also recommended for prosecution. Meanwhile, developer Vu Ngoc Sinh, who was involved in the AntEx project, is currently wanted by authorities.
