Nguyen Luong Tan Resigns from VPBank Securities Board

Nguyen Luong Tan, a member of the board of directors and director of the Investment Banking Center at VPBank Securities, submitted a resignation letter citing personal reasons. The resignation will take effect once approved by the company's shareholders' meeting.

VPBank Securities reported strong financial results for the first half of 2026, with total revenue reaching VND 7,013 billion—almost four times the same period last year—driven by higher margin margin‑trading, brokerage, and investment banking activities. The company also highlighted significant gains from its proprietary trading portfolio.

The board change comes as the firm continues to expand its capital‑raising and brokerage services in Vietnam's growing financial market.
