Nguyen Thi Anh Vien discusses her homes and philanthropic support

Vietnamese swimming legend Nguyen Thi Anh Vien has shared details regarding her living arrangements and the support she received following her competitive career. Born into a farming family in Can Tho, Anh Vien used prize money from her successful swimming career to help her parents rebuild their home and invest in land to improve their livelihood.

In addition to her family home in Can Tho, Anh Vien resides in a modern apartment in Ho Chi Minh City. She revealed that this apartment, fully furnished, was a gift from a benefactor known as 'Bac Bay' following her achievement of winning eight gold medals at the 2015 SEA Games. The benefactor has continued to support her transition out of professional competition, providing access to swimming facilities that allow her to operate a swimming club to teach the sport.
