According to real-time Forbes data, Nguyen Thi Phuong Thao, Chairwoman of Vietjet Air, has become the second-richest person in Vietnam. Her net worth reached approximately $4.2 billion, surpassing Pham Thu Huong, Vice Chairwoman of Vingroup, who holds an estimated $4.11 billion.

Thao, the first self-made female billionaire in Vietnam and Southeast Asia, also serves as Chairwoman of Sovico Group and Vice Chairwoman of HDBank. Her wealth increase is attributed to a rise in Vietjet Air stock value.

Additionally, Pham Thuy Hang, Vice Chairwoman of Vingroup and sister to Pham Thu Huong, has risen to become the fourth-richest person in Vietnam. Her net worth exceeded $3 billion following a significant increase in Vingroup (VIC) stock value, placing her ahead of other prominent figures such as Tran Dinh Long and various bank chairmen.
