Nguyen Thi Thu Ha surrenders after 12 years as a wanted fugitive

Nguyen Thi Thu Ha, a former employee of Hospital A in Thai Nguyen province, has surrendered to the Thai Nguyen Provincial Police on August 21. Ha had been a wanted fugitive since May 2012 for fraud.

Investigations revealed that between 2004 and 2005, while working at the hospital, Ha falsely claimed to have connections that could secure employment for others. She collected money from individuals seeking jobs before fleeing the area. During her time on the run, she worked as a laborer in various locations to evade authorities. Her surrender follows persistent efforts by the Economic Police Department to verify her location and encourage her to cooperate with the law.
