Nguyen Van Thanh shares personal fitness update on social media

Nguyen Van Thanh, the former CEO of Green SM, has garnered significant social media attention following a humorous post about his personal life. After leaving his leadership role at GSM in June 2026 and concluding a seven-year tenure with Vingroup, Thanh shared a candid update regarding his attempt to achieve a six-pack physique within 100 days.

The post, which received nearly 6,000 interactions, centered on a candid photo that revealed his weight gain. Thanh jokingly described his reaction to the photo as feeling “sad, self-pitying, and suffering.” His fitness journey met an immediate setback when he suffered an arm injury after his very first workout session, leading him to announce that his 100-day plan ended on its first day.

Born in 1992, Thanh held various positions within the Vingroup ecosystem before becoming the General Director of Green SM (GSM), the operator of the Green SM brand.
