Nguyen Xuan Vu elected Vice Chairman of Sacombank

Nguyen Xuan Vu has been elected Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors at Sacombank for the 2022–2026 term. Born in 1981, Vu holds a Bachelor's degree from the Academy of Finance and a Master's degree in Banking and Finance from Vietnam National University, Hanoi.

Vu has been with Sacombank for nearly 20 years, progressing through various key roles including Board Chairman Assistant and Deputy General Director. His career milestones include serving as the bank's youngest Deputy General Director at age 32 and joining the Board of Directors at age 36, where he was the youngest member of that term.

During his tenure, Vu has been instrumental in expanding the bank's network. Between 2013 and 2017, he oversaw the increase of transaction points from 424 to 566, serving over 4 million customers across Vietnam, Laos, and Cambodia. His election is viewed as a move to ensure leadership continuity and strengthen the bank's strategic implementation and competitive capacity.
