Nguyễn Anh Tuấn faces prosecution in ALMA Construction case

The Ministry of Public Security's investigation into ALMA Construction Joint Stock Company has recommended the prosecution of Nguyễn Anh Tuấn, also known as Tuấn ‘Thần đèn’, along with several other defendants.

Investigation findings reveal that Tuấn instructed his cashier, Lê Văn Quân, to destroy and burn handwritten records of cash inflows and outflows at the Tượng Sơn soil mine in Thanh Hoa province three days before police conducted a search. These records included both invoiced amounts and off-book discrepancies.

As part of the legal proceedings, authorities have seized three land use right certificates belonging to Tuấn. To mitigate consequences, Tuấn has paid 14 billion VND, while other defendants, including Trịnh Văn Tuấn and Trịnh Xuân Thành, have also contributed significant sums to remedy the situation.
