Nguyễn Công Minh sought for prosecution in bribery and bidding case

The Ministry of Public Security's Security Investigation Agency has requested the in-absentia prosecution of Nguyễn Công Minh, Chairman of the Board of Công Minh Greenery Company. This follows the conclusion of a supplementary investigation into criminal violations regarding bidding regulations, bribery, and receiving bribes.

Investigations revealed that Công Minh Greenery Company colluded with investors to manipulate bidding prices during the project planning stages. The company reportedly secured over 600 bids across various provinces, totaling more than 3,500 billion VND, with over 3,000 billion VND already settled.

Valuation councils for 100 projects have identified state losses of nearly 100 billion VND. Authorities have issued a wanted notice for Nguyễn Công Minh, urging him to surrender to receive legal leniency.
