Nguyễn Quang Huy wins world Origami championship

Nguyễn Quang Huy, an 18-year-old student from Hanoi, has won the world championship in the Interpretation category (Joisel Award) of the 2025 Origami competition.

In addition to his international success in paper folding, Huy has demonstrated academic excellence by enrolling as a freshman at Hanoi University of Science and Technology, majoring in Electronics and Telecommunications, with a score of 28.92.

Huy attributed his victory to a decade of persistence. Despite facing difficulties during his first five years of practice and lacking what he perceived as natural talent, he improved through self-training and guidance from the Vietnamese Origami community.
