Vietnam announces several high-level government appointments

Vietnam has announced several high-level government appointments across multiple ministries.

In the Inspectorate General, Deputy Prime Minister Lê Tiến Châu presided over the appointment of two new Deputy Inspectors General. Phạm Thành Ngại, formerly the Chairman of the Đồng Tháp People's Committee, and Nguyễn Thanh Tuấn, formerly the Director of the Huế City Police, have been appointed to these roles. The leadership emphasized a shift toward preventive inspection and strengthening national governance.

In the Ministry of Industry and Trade, Nguyễn Việt Sơn, previously the Director of the Petroleum and Coal Department, has been appointed as Deputy Minister. This appointment aims to bolster the ministry's capacity to ensure energy security and manage market regulations.

Additionally, Lê Trọng Yên, formerly the Standing Vice Chairman of the Lâm Đồng People's Committee, has been appointed as Deputy Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development.
