NH Investment & Securities launches first short-term IMA product

NH Investment & Securities has announced the launch of its first short-term Investment Management Account (IMA) product, titled 'N2 IMA1 Short-term No. 1'. The product is designed to meet investor demand for shorter capital management periods, featuring a maturity of 18 months. The company aims to recruit approximately 100 billion won through a first-come, first-served subscription process ending October 7.

The short-term product offers a benchmark return for performance fees of 4.3% per annum, which is higher than previous mid-term versions. The total fee is set at 0.5%, a 0.1 percentage point reduction compared to mid-term products. A performance fee of 40% will be applied to returns exceeding the benchmark.

IMA products allow securities firms to invest client funds into corporate finance assets, such as corporate loans, bonds, and acquisition financing. NH Investment & Securities noted that its previous mid-term IMA products were highly popular among high-net-worth individuals, with customers holding over 1 billion won accounting for 68% of sales in the most recent mid-term offering. If the new short-term product is fully subscribed, the company's cumulative IMA recruitment will reach approximately 740 billion won.
