NH Nonghyup Bank achieves first financial sector ISMS-P certification for mobile IDs

NH Nonghyup Bank has announced that its mobile platform, NH All One Bank, has obtained the Information Security and Personal Information Management System (ISMS-P) certification for its mobile ID services. This marks the first time a financial institution in the sector has received this specific certification from the Financial Security Institute.

The mobile ID service supports five types of identification, including resident registration cards, driver's licenses, national merit registration cards, foreign registration cards, and disability registration cards. The bank has expanded support across major smartphone brands and recently enabled mobile ID issuance via QR codes from administrative centers and driver's license examination offices.

In addition to digital services, the bank is enhancing in-person verification by pilot-testing AI facial recognition terminals, known as ‘AI Smart Pads,’ at 100 branches nationwide. These terminals allow for identity verification through facial recognition and passport scanning. Furthermore, the bank has integrated the ‘Smart Pass’ service at Incheon International Airport into the NH All One Bank app, allowing travelers to use facial recognition for identity verification at departure gates.
