NH Nonghyup Bank expands support for Jeonnam-Gwangju integration
NH Nonghyup Bank is expanding its financial support for the Jeonnam-Gwangju Integrated Special City to promote regional development and the establishment of a semiconductor cluster.
To support the administrative integration of the region, the bank is re-releasing its ‘NH Jeonnam-Gwangju Integrated Special City Accompanying Deposit.’ Following a successful first release that sold out 100 billion won in eight days, this second round offers a 100 billion won limit from September 21 to October 31. The product features a maximum interest rate of 3.65% per annum. Additionally, 0.10% of the total sales will be allocated to a public fund for regional development.
Regarding industrial growth, the bank is implementing preferential financial measures for companies entering the semiconductor cluster, including relaxed loan screening requirements and higher collateral recognition ratios. NH Nonghyup Bank has already provided 37.4 billion won in loans to small and medium-sized enterprises and micro-businesses. To foster future talent in semiconductor and AI sectors, the bank also delivered 300 million won in scholarships to local students.
