NHAI launches mascot design competition for public participation

The National Highways Authority of India (NHAI), partnering with the MyGov platform, has opened a mascot design competition inviting Indian citizens to create a visual ambassador that reflects its vision of seamless connectivity, road safety, innovation, trust, sustainable infrastructure and nation‑building. Entries must be original, non‑AI‑generated designs in JPEG or PNG format, at least 300 DPI, under 4 MB, and submitted via MyGov with a brief concept note (max 200 words). Winners will provide editable source files, and the selected mascot will become the official NHAI brand symbol, with full intellectual‑property rights transferred to the authority. Prizes are ₹100,000 for first place, ₹50,000 for second, and ₹25,000 for third, each accompanied by a certificate of recognition. The submission deadline is one month from the competition’s launch date.
