An upcoming talk live event for the NHK Taiga drama “Toyotomi Kyodai!” is scheduled to take place on November 14, 2026, at the Bungei Seminarion in Azuchi, Omihachiman City. The event will feature actress Emma Miya, who portrays the character “Tomo,” the sister of the Toyotomi brothers and the mother of Toyotomi Hidetsugu.

Attendance is free, but the venue is limited to approximately 300 seats. Interested participants must apply by 11:59 PM on October 31, 2026. Due to expected high demand, attendees will be selected via lottery, with notifications sent via email around November 6.

Separately, recent episodes of the drama have focused on the characterization of Tokugawa Ieyasu, played by Kohei Matsushita. The narrative explores Ieyasu’s complex relationship with Toyotomi Hidenaga, depicting a shift from assassination plots to a shared vision for a peaceful world.
