NHK's Venue101 to showcase King & Prince, Nogizaka46, ILLIT and ATEEZ on Aug. 1

NHK General will air episode 117 of its music program Venue101 on August 1, 2026 from 23:00 to 23:30 JST. The show features performances by the boy‑band King & Prince ("So Honey"), idol group Nogizaka46 ("是非に及ばず"), K‑pop act ATEEZ (Japanese version of "BAD"), and the viral Japanese act ILLIT ("It’s Me").

ILLIT and ATEEZ will each demonstrate the choreography that propelled their songs to viral status on social media. OCTPATH will perform the city‑pop‑flavoured track "まっすぐなまま," with lyricist Komaba Takashi of the group Milkboy appearing live to discuss the song’s words. The episode also includes a "synchronisation challenge" where pairs from King & Prince and Nogizaka46 answer identical questions to test their rapport.

The broadcast will be simultaneously streamed on NHK ONE and made available for one‑week on‑demand viewing after the live airing.
