NHL announces 2027 All-Star Game format and schedule

The NHL will return to the All-Star Game in 2027 following a two-year hiatus for the 4 Nations Face-Off and Olympic hockey. The event will feature a new format consisting of five international teams competing in a three-on-three tournament.

The New York Islanders are set to host the festivities at UBS Arena in Elmont, New York. The NHL All-Star Skills Competition is scheduled for Friday, February 5, at 7:00 p.m. ET on ESPN, while the main All-Star Game will air on Saturday, February 6, at 3:00 p.m. ET on ABC.

In Canada, viewers can access both the Skills Competition and the All-Star Game via Sportsnet and Sportsnet+.
