NHL announces Hometown Remix uniform reveal date

The National Hockey League (NHL) and the Tampa Bay Lightning have announced that the official reveal for the Hometown Remix uniforms will take place on November 2, 2026. This league-wide campaign marks the first major uniform series release since the 2022-23 season.

While official designs remain under wraps, leaks and practice gear have provided glimpses of the upcoming sets. The Tampa Bay Lightning have been seen using all-black helmets during recent practices, suggesting a return to the team’s original primary color.

In Washington, viral renderings from uniform outlets have suggested the Capitals may feature a retro Capitol Dome crest with bronze-and-black striping and marble-textured accents. While these renderings are not official presentations by Fanatics, league sources have indicated that leaked designs for certain teams are largely accurate.
