NHL injury updates: Avalanche, Panthers, and Rangers players sidelined

Several NHL teams are managing player injuries and roster adjustments. The Colorado Avalanche are seeing progress with forwards Logan O’Connor and Zachary L’Heureux, both of whom participated in full practice and are expected to return to the lineup within the next two games. Additionally, the Avalanche have adjusted their power play units, incorporating Nazem Kadri into the top unit.

In Florida, the Panthers placed Aleksander Barkov on long-term injured reserve (LTIR) and he will undergo medical evaluation to determine the extent of his injury. Brad Marchand has been activated from the IR, while defenseman Aaron Ekblad is missing the remainder of the road trip for personal reasons. Gustav Forsling has returned to the lineup.

Other notable injury updates include New York Rangers forward Joe Veleno, who left a recent game with a lower-body injury, and Ottawa Senators defenseman Jake Sanderson, who is being monitored following a lower-body injury. In Colorado, Gabriel Landeskog was recently given a maintenance day.
