NHL players Dylan Larkin and Mathew Barzal face injury setbacks

As NHL training camps begin, several key players are facing injury setbacks. Detroit Red Wings centerman Dylan Larkin has sustained an upper-body injury during training and will not participate in on-ice activities at the start of camp. This follows recent news regarding his captaincy and a trade request issued in June.

Additionally, the New York Islanders reported that forward Mathew Barzal will not skate for the next two weeks due to inflammation from a previously aggravated injury. The team stated that Barzal is working toward a full recovery to return to the lineup as soon as possible.
