NHL trade rumors involve Simon Edvinsson and Elias Pettersson

Recent NHL rumors highlight potential roster changes for several teams. Detroit Red Wings defenseman Simon Edvinsson reportedly prefers a trade over signing a new contract following stalled negotiations and management changes within the organization.

In Vancouver, Elias Pettersson continues to be a subject of trade speculation despite strong early-season performance. While no immediate move is imminent, reports suggest the Pittsburgh Penguins have expressed interest in the forward as they look toward future offensive needs following the eras of Sidney Crosby and Evgeni Malkin.
