NHS Clinical Entrepreneur Programme opens applications for 11th cohort
Applications are open for the 11th cohort of the NHS Clinical Entrepreneur Programme (CEP), a workforce development initiative designed to help healthcare professionals turn innovative ideas into practical solutions. The programme is free to join and open to all NHS staff across the UK.
Delivered by Anglia Ruskin University, the CEP provides participants with CPD-accredited learning, expert mentoring, and networking opportunities. Through educational events known as ‘Pit Stops’, staff can develop the skills and confidence needed to scale innovations in diagnostics, technology, or service delivery while continuing their NHS careers.
In Scotland, organisations such as InnoScot Health are supporting local participation. The programme aims to foster a self-sustaining health service by empowering frontline staff, including healthcare scientists, to address challenges identified through their daily research and patient care experiences.
