NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde faces industrial action by health visitor leaders

Health visitor team leaders in Scotland have issued formal notice of planned industrial action against NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde (NHS GGC). The dispute centers on job evaluation processes, which three trade unions—RCN Scotland, Unison, and Unite—claim the health board has failed to follow according to national agreements.

At this stage, the planned actions are short of full strikes. Union representatives stated that members feel undervalued and demoralized, noting that the move follows 12 months of unrest involving various staff groups at the health board, including previous disputes involving district nurses and issues regarding pay and banding.
