Nhu Quynh continues acting career at age 72

Vietnamese People's Artist Nhu Quynh continues to pursue her acting career at the age of 72. After five decades in the industry, she remains active in both television and film projects.

She recently appeared in the film ‘Trại buôn người’, portraying a resilient mother searching for her son. Nhu Quynh described this as the most physically demanding role of her career, involving intense scenes of hardship. To prepare, she engaged in physical training and utilized stunt skills learned during her time filming ‘Cyclo’ in 1994.

Despite her age, she maintains a rigorous filming schedule, often working from early morning until late at night in locations such as An Giang and Ho Chi Minh City. In her personal life, she lives a simple life with her husband, photographer Huu Bao.
