Niš to host international neurooncology conference in 2026

The Association of Neurosurgeons of Serbia will host the 12th Annual Meeting, titled ‘Neurooncology 2026 – Think Globally, Act Locally: Challenges and Solutions,’ from September 10 to 13, 2026. The event will take place at the Science and Technology Park in Niš.

Organized in collaboration with several international bodies, including the Spanish Association of Neurosurgeons (SENEC), the International Academy of Neurosurgical Anatomy (IANA), the EANS Young Neurosurgeons’ Committee, and the Southeast European Neurosurgical Society (SeENS), the gathering is considered a major scientific event for the neurosurgery community in Europe and the world. The program will focus on modern approaches to diagnosing and treating brain and spinal cord tumors.

Key topics include surgical treatment of primary brain tumors, molecular and radiosurgical neurooncology, pediatric neurooncology, and the application of artificial intelligence in neurosurgical education. The meeting is expected to host over 500 participants and more than 130 lecturers from over 30 countries.
