NIA investigates gangster Prince Khan’s alleged terror links to Pakistan
The National Investigation Agency (NIA) has launched an investigation into the alleged Pakistan connections and terror network of fugitive gangster Prince Khan. An NIA team arrived in Dhanbad to gather evidence regarding Khan’s foreign contacts and the potential international flow of extortion money.
Investigators are examining whether Khan’s criminal activities are linked to the proscribed terror group Jaish-e-Mohammed and other suspicious networks in Pakistan. According to information from Dhanbad police interrogations of Khan’s associate, Saif Abbas Naqvi, extortion funds collected from businessmen in Jharkhand were allegedly transferred to Pakistan via hawala and through Al Ansari Exchange in Dubai.
Authorities are also looking into reports that Khan established contact with the ISI and Jaish-e-Mohammed through Pakistani national Tauqeer Baloch. The NIA aims to verify these claims through digital records and financial transaction trails to determine if criminal proceeds were used to fund terrorist activities.
