Niantic rolls out Pokémon GO weekly events for July 6‑12, 2026

Niantic’s mobile game Pokémon GO launched a series of in‑game events for the week of 6 – 12 July 2026. The midnight kickoff on 6 July opened the "Der Weg der Legenden" event, a countdown to the upcoming GO Fest: Global weekend. Throughout the week, players receive daily raid hours—including occasional Mega‑Raid slots—with the remote‑raid limit lifted and two extra free Raid Passes per arena.

The schedule features legendary Pokémon spawns, with 68 different legends and ultra‑beasts appearing between 18:00 and 20:00 on the first day. Mega‑Brutalanda serves as the daily Mega‑Raid Pokémon. Special themed raids let players battle White Kyurem, Zekrom, Necrozma (Morning Wings) on 7 July, and Black Kyurem, Reshiram, Necrozma (Evening Mane) on 8 July, followed by a Mega‑Despotar raid. The week also marks the 10th‑anniversary party, offering costumed Pokémon such as Pikachu and the Kanto starters, and introduces the Gierspenst with a commemorative coin that remains catchable until 31 July. The GO Pass for July provides additional rewards, and Ho‑Oh appears as the month’s legendary at player level 100.
